TIDBITS 4 CAT AND DOG OWNERS

Tidbits 4 cat and dog owners
Getting a pet is great for kids and adults alike. That being said, a certain responsibility comes with owning a pet. To make sure things go well, consider the following tidbits of advice.

  1. Physically Disciplining Cats – You should not hit or swipe at your cat. Instead, discipline them with a water spray bottle. If you do it yourself, the cat will avoid you at all cost.

  2. Dry Dog Wash – If you don’t have time to give your dog a bath and they smell bad, you can give them a rub down with baking soda to take the edge off.

  3. Pets Hate Baths – Nearly every pet hates baths. Heck, they can even understand you when you spell the word out. Bring a toy or two in to the bathroom to calm them down.

  4. Exotic Pet Problems – It may seem like a good idea to get a unique pet, but be warned. They have unique needs and you may be surprised how much maintenance there is.

  5. Pets In Pools – Throwing a ball into a pool for a pet to chase is a favorite pastime. Swimming is good for their hips, but watch their fur. It can dry out the skin because of the chlorine.

  6. Dog Tennis Ball – Tennis balls are a dogs favorite toy. They are also bad for their jaws. Get a medically approved ball at the local store.

Whether you are getting a dog, cat or something more exotic, understanding the needs of your pet is good place to start. Although we all tend to lend human qualities to our pets, they are not human. Make sure you take care of them based on knowledge.

Please remember our pets are well loved not spoiled
